As a Global SAP partner, Capgemini is one of the world’s largest and most experienced SAP systems integrators, with 17,800 practitioners and over 40 years of experience. We support clients to implement highly scalable solutions in Digital Core Transformation, Commerce and LOB Transformation, Advanced Analytics, OnePath for SAP and SAP Innovation.
As a Functional Consultant, you are part of a cross functional deployment team which will enable the customer to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. Your role includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes and testing to insure conversion success. Key deliverables include functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios and you are responsible for knowledge transfer to local business users. The focus of this role is the SAP Order Management (OM) function.

- Functional role to support the development, deployment and coordination around SAP Sales & Distribution with integration knowledge with SAP Finance and Materials Management
- Solid understanding of SAP SD and require a very hands on approach
- Responsibilities include gather requirements, document fit gap analysis, document functional specifications.
- Strong background and experience across SAP and general projects

Functional resource with a proven history of providing leading manufacturing, pharma and supply chain insights and being the clients’ trusted advisor.
- 6 – 8 years project experience, 2-3 full cycle project experience
- Significant experience in SAP with solid project references
- Ability to demonstrate strong functional understanding of SAP SD
- Ability to build and manage business stakeholder relationships independently
- Able to be the conduit of the local Australian requirements and provide design inputs to the central team.
- Analytical methodology with a deep understanding of project lifecycle
- Strong problem solving skills and system testing
