As a Global SAP partner, Capgemini is one of the world’s largest and most experienced SAP systems integrators, with 17,800 practitioners and over 40 years of experience. We support clients to implement highly scalable solutions in Digital Core Transformation, Commerce and LOB Transformation, Advanced Analytics, OnePath for SAP and SAP Innovation. 

As a FunctionalConsultant, you are part of a cross functional deployment teamwhich will enable the customer to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. Your role includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes and testing to insure conversion success. Key deliverables include functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios and you are responsible for knowledge transfer to local business users. The focus of this role is the SAP Logistics / Workforce Management function. 

 Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities: 

  • Requirements gathering and solutioning
  • Work with business process owners and Leadership to develop “To-Be” business processes
  • Fully understand the global template for Logistics / Workforce Management in SAP
  • Capture, assess and prioritize key business requirement gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project
  • Drive best business processes
  • Champion changemanagement activities
  • Manage relationships and communication with the leadership team
  • Conduct scheduled sessions with End users to share best practices, deployment strategy and knowledge sharing
  • Work to resolve any complex issue being experienced by the deployment team

Let’s talk about your qualifications and experience: 

  • Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident  
  • Has worked on at least one full lifecycle implementation with a multi-national client
  • Previous practical experience working with a client and undertaken warehouse site visit(s)
  • Core understanding of SAP WM including strategies, interfaces, custom developments, HU/SU management
  • Understanding of integration points of SAP WM with manufacturing, procurement & quality
  • 3PL integration experience preferred
  • Experience of building interfaces between SAP and WMS systems
  • Broad technology knowledge of major applications
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of SAP Logistics Execution solutions for business programs
  • Broad technology knowledge of major applications
  • Middleware and platform
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of SAP Logistics Execution solutions for business programs
  • Storage Bin definition and BIN strategy
  • Understanding of movement type and its set up
  • Release strategy
  • SAP Configuration experience
  • Integration experience between SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and:
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • SAP Finance (FI)
  • SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
  • SAP Procure To Pay (PTP)
