SAP Functional Consultant – Order Management

As a Global SAP partner, Capgemini is one of the world’s largest and most experienced SAP systems integrators, with 17,800 practitioners and over 40 years of experience. We support clients to implement highly scalable solutions in Digital Core Transformation, Commerce and LOB Transformation, Advanced Analytics, OnePath for SAP and SAP Innovation.

As a Functional Consultant, you are part of a cross functional deployment team which will enable the customer to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. Your role includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes and testing to insure conversion success. Key deliverables include functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios and you are responsible for knowledge transfer to local business users. The focus of this role is the SAP Order Management (OM) function.

  • Requirements gathering and solutioning
  • Project and Program Management
  • Senior stakeholder engagement and influencing ability, especially gaining customer buy-in for an alternative approach 
  • Solid understanding of sales distribution and sales processes; sales, shipping and billing

Let’s talk about your qualifications and experience:  

  • Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
  • Several years’ experience of pricing, delivery processing, contracts, billing, Accounts Receivable and credit management
  • Solid experience of order to cash process & sales order configuration
  • Experience and understanding of logistics anbd recommending solutions to different business units
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules, including:
  • SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
  • SAP Production Planning (PP)
  • SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • SAP Order Management (OM)
  • Results driven, autonomous yet highly team-oriented
  • Track record of working collaboratively with IT staff through the design and build of the new business processes
  • Experience of working in a complex, globally dispersed, matrix delivery environment
