The change manager must ensure that each project is effectively delivered into the relevant business areas by means of carefully planned and coordinated change management programmes.

Specifically, the IT Change Manager will
to Ensure each different business area is sufficiently prepared for the impact of the new IT
systems as and when they are ready to go live and to Ensure there is sufficient support available for the new system to operate in business as
usual state

The change manager will lead the appointed team for each project or system and must ensure that the change work stream is managed in an effective and efficient manner Principally the IT Change Manager will be challenged with ensuring the successful delivery of the stated business objectives for each project
Functional skills
Review and record Requests For Change RFC
Categorize change
Prioritize changes
Accept or reject RFC
Convene the CAB meetings
Convene Emergency CAB ECAB
Coordinate with all necessary parties build, test and implement changes
Mediate conflicts related to the change if required
Issue change schedule
Conduct Post Implementation Reviews PIR lessons learned
Maintain change documentation policies procedures templates etc
Maintain change logClose RFCProduce regular management reports project specific
