Role Overview:

Ensures all Service Level Agreements are adhered to and provides the client with a high quality service. Drive Continuous improvements.

Promotes teamwork, provides employees with coaching and feedback for a small/medium size team. Networks with other functions

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  •  Leads the Regional  Contollership Organization ,  Set Goals  &  Adhere to  KPI's                                             
  •  Identify /Approve/Hire/Onboard – Resourcing Requirements               
  • Manages BU  Controllers , Asst. Controllers/ Reporting Analysts
  • Performance Mgmt &  Running Team Meetings , Staffing Requirements & Training     
  • Ensure Timely & Accurate close of  Books for Legal Entity that Facilitate the By-Title Signoff
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation  
  • Critical Process Reviews & Capture Extraordinary Events / Exceptions  
  • Complete Profit Center/ Cost Center Review     
  • Interaction with Territory / Business Units & Delivery team in Service delivery Centre in CAP as Required
  • Clear, concise and transparent communication with  customer, builds rapport
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial data with detail analysis
  • Perform Trial Balance analyses prior to month-end financial statement validation
  • Lead/Facilitate/Participate in quarterly Balance Sheet reviews
  • Coordinate the Financial Statement  Verification and By Title  Sign offs
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries and requests
  • Facilitate Training Interventions                                                                                                    
  • Facilitate  Audits (TWIA and E&Y ) from Process Adherence &  US GAAP  Compliance            
  • Final Point of Escalation in India  for Territory/ BU  and Client Org in that Region /Business Unit                                             
  • Drive Scope consistency  & Drive Continuous Improvement
  •  Review errors, and develop corrective action plans
  • Review account reconciliations to ensure open items reflect current activity and follow up with BU/Territory to resolve aged or reconciling items
  • Account Reconciliations – Approvals  for High Risk Reconciliations
  • Basic understanding of Media & Entertainment business
