Short Description


The SME/Lead roles is expected to perform/demonstrate the following:

Execute the relevant finance processes in accordance with the defined and agreed Standard Operating Procedures. 
Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e. AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Corporate Finance, Payrolll/Banking) in order to resolve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. 
Perform daily and monthly bank posting/clearing, bank reconciliation, schedules and specifications.
Perform month end activities including fixed assets reporting, intercompany reconciliation, financial statement reporting in ERP and consolidation system.
Ensure that relevant controls are performed and SOX documentations have been completed, and submitted to manager for review and sign-off, and ultimately forsubmission to Compliance team.
Perform balance sheet reconciliation post month end close.
Provide documentations that may be required for internal / external audit.
Participate in further improvement and optimisation of processes, procedures in Finance and Accounting.
Support the team lead in executing his / her tasks, whenever necessary.

Graduate of Commerce/ Accountancy 
More than 4 years of working experience in the same field. 
Preferably, but not required, with knowledge in process improvement methodologies.

With good communication skills 
Problem solving-oriented
Customer service-oriented 
Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned.
With positive behavior and attitude. Can blend well to different kind of personalities. 
With knowledge in using ERP systems
Preferably, but not required, with certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA, CIA etc.)
