Skill, Experience & General information required:
5 plus years of experience in developing QlikView applications, preferably in an environment which included a Data Warehouse using a major RDMS (DB2, sybase)
Expertise in designing and modeling in QlikView with complex multiple data sources relational designs.
Ability to tune data loads and QlikView application for efficient performance
Delivers thought leadership in the area of Qlikview best practices, coding standards, and performance tuning techniques.
Maintains a high attention to detail in order to ensure the data integrity of architected solutions.
Experience with complex data models involving more than 10 tables
Ability to analyze complex problems and business requirements, recommend innovative alternatives and solutions and to implement complex, innovative solutions.
Experience with report and/or user interface design.
QlikView Certification preferred
Experience with troubleshooting non-recurring and performance-related issues.
A high degree of passion about application development – the ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies to meet business goals is critical.
Process-oriented, experienced with standard ITSM, ITIL and SDLC practices.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and meet multiple deadlines.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to work independently.
