Who you’ll be working with:

The Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) practice is the largest practice within Capgemini Financial Services, with a headcount of 6000+ and servicing 500+ clients globally.

Focus of your role:

PPM Agile Consultant will be accountable for the delivery of medium to large-scale agile projects .UK Risk; Finance & Treasury functions require significant effort in strategic business transformational change.


With a heavy emphasis on Technology Product management & Delivery, Technical and Communication skills, he/she is expected to work closely with the Functional stakeholders, Project Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and Delivery Managers across all clusters to ensure successful delivery of projects. Primary responsibilities of the candidate will cover, but not limited to:


  • Solid understanding of HP PPM/Clarity PPM application and associated modules: Demand Management, Time Tracking, Deployment Manager, Project Management, Resource Management, Reports and Dashboard
  • Working with project stakeholders, to scope initiatives, establish governance, and define target solutions.
  • Creation of Dashboard/Report through PPM application like Hp PPM /Clarity
  • Support/maintenance of existing PPM process & training of end users
  • Actively managing schedule, benefit delivery, and any deviations from the plan.  Must be able to demonstrate
  • Analytical ability to assess change requests and their impact to the project and approaches to accommodate.
  • Closely working with the product owner in providing advice and guidance to business stakeholders in shaping the portfolio of technology solutions to be provided to the business
  • People management skills – experience in managing resources including Barclay’s staff and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Responsible for delivery of scope, schedule and cost constraints inherent within the Barclays UK Risk change environment at the Program / large project level and how they intersect with key enablers required for successful delivery (integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, HR management, communications management, risk management and procurement management).

What you’ll do:

  • Creation of Dashboard/Report through PPM application like Hp PPM /Clarity
  • Support/maintenance of existing PPM process & training of end users
  • Overall accountability for the delivery of an end-to-end business and technology solution supported by the supply chain (internal and external) across multiple processes, systems and infrastructure.
  • Analyse & provide with estimations relating to the specialized areas or components.
  • Owns and drives the effective governance of the Project/Release, via the Project Management Office, ensuring that Bank technical, risk and other standards and compliance requirements are met and that the Program/Project governance framework is comprehensively defined and firmly embedded across all areas of the Project/Release
  • Exercises overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project/release to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standards
  • Working with the all component teams ( Offshore & Onshore ) to escalate any roadblocks or project risks to the Program Implementation Lead
  • Responsible for Product planning, including the progressive elaboration of scope into detailed work packages underpinning a critical path at the Program and large project level.
  • Accountability for, and oversight of, and where necessary delivery of high quality production of: 
  1. Product analytical fact base.
  2. Product  Business Requirements definition (high and detailed level).
  3. Product Business Operational design (high and detailed level).
  4. Product change impact assessments.
  5. Test scenarios, test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Manual workarounds identified through testing
  6. Contributions to Business and Benefits Case
  7. Contributions to Training & Business Change material
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written; handles challenge confidently and instils confidence in stakeholders
  • Able to Chair Steering Committee and other forums to face off to senior stakeholders
  • Able to highlight key risks and time/scope changes to Senior Stakeholders and drive a decision for the Program.
  • Work with stakeholders like BUK Risk & Finance teams, Group Finance teams, Various Transaction Cycle teams, to analyse, design and deliver the Program Objectives.
  • Regular communication and engagement with stakeholders within IIT and project teams on a regular basis to discuss the development quality measures for the project and assess that the best practices are being adhered to.
  • Successful senior stakeholder and supplier management – internal and external, and across Group/SBU boundaries. 
  • Capable of dealing with diversity
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
  • Mentor and coach team colleagues by sharing experience.
  • Rigorously discharge all of Group’s HR policies (including Performance Development, Equality & Diversity, and Disciplinary & Grievance) in respect of line managed resources
  • Input onto the ongoing development of the BUK Change Governance, Methods, Standards and Tools

What you’ll bring:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration
  • Solid understanding of HP PPM or Clarity PPM Application and associated modules: Demand Management, Time Tracking, Deployment Manager, Project Management, Resource Management, Reports,
  • Familiarity full SDLC lifecycle including both waterfall, agile methodologies.
  • Certified Prince 2 Foundation and Agile Practitioner
  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master
  • Proven track record as a data analyst with excellent change management skills and expertise
  • Exposure to a wide variety of other technologies, such as VB, Access, Excel technologies
