Program management of large QA program and delivery
Design and develop QA transformation plan, build and industrialize across the program organization
Provide oversight and leadership in all aspects of QA delivery, transformation and adoption
Lead/direct the QA transformation approach (in compliance with the contract), its major time frames, and delivery of contractual deliverables and supporting work products while using QA processes
Identify performance gaps in QA processes and implement repeatable, sustainable processes to increase operational efficiencies.
Assure processes and practices enable teams operate in an integrative and collaborative fashion.
Facilitate QA learning and development through individual and team coaching, deliver QA training; facilitate workshops both, on-site and distantly.
Develop client relationships based on value and personal interactions by exceeding client expectations throughout the project.
Actively try to identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to implement
Specification / Skills / Experience:
5+ years of experience as an Large QA Delivery and Transformation Leader or SME, working with most commonly used QA methodologies QA transformation and adoption for large and complex enterprise engagements
15-20 years professional experience (5+ years in a consulting capacity)
Experience implementing and continually improving QA principles and practices, and coaching the customer on the recommended approach
Experience with proven modern practices such as Agile testing, devops testing, Life cycle automaton, Visual Modeling, UML, Refactoring, Unit Testing, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration etc.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical background with a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices preferred
Innovative thinking – ability to learn new tools and techniques and apply them to the program
Strong leadership and influencing skills, being able to interact with colleagues in Technology and the Business at all levels.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Secondary Skills (Nice to have):
One or more Expert-level QA certification(s) – SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), ICQA Certified Professional (ICP) etc. – Scaled QA Framework experience preferred
QA Thought Leader preferred – written publications on QA, speaker at QA conferences, etc
