Insights and Data is a global business unit that delivers solutions across a wide range of information functions including BI, EPM, data management, data science, big data, analytics and content management.
 

The role

Collaboration/Innovation
At Capgemini you will be able to harness your Oracle BI experience to technically implement complex Oracle-based solutions in the analytics and data integration space. Oracle’s cloud-first strategy is creating new opportunities that enable our clients to take insight to the next level. As the largest independent Oracle Consulting practice in the UK, Capgemini is at the forefront of delivering these innovative solutions. Core to our success is the ability of our consultants to implement leading edge IT solutions to resolve complex business and technical problems.  In addition to project implementation activities we expect our consultants to give back to the team by sharing knowledge and best practices with others as well as advocating Oracle solutions within Capgemini.
 

The work

The role will be Operate as an Oracle BI consultant on the design and implementation of complex analytics and data integration solutions, including working in mixed onshore/offshore teams, advocate Oracle’s latest analytics and data integration technologies both internally and in the wider market and you will have the opportunity to work with the best people in the industry
 

Why You?

Your core skill set will include the following:-

  • Experience with technical design and implementation of leading-edge Oracle-based data integration, big data and analytics solutions
  • Expertise with Oracle’s analytics and data integration products, including Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, OBIEE, BI Applications, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Oracle Data Integrator & SQL
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud’s embedded reporting technologies, including OTBI and BI Publisher
  • Strong communication skills and experience with multiple delivery models, including Agile
  • A willingness to take the initiative, learn more and share your knowledge with others

Additional skills of interest include:-

  • Experience with advanced analytical components such as Python or D3
  • Working with GoldenGate or big data related technologies (such as Hadoop and Oracle Big Data Connectors) 
  • Exposure to the Oracle EPM/Hyperion family of products
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or EBusiness Suite
