Finance Controller – NA Apps OBU & NA India Legal Entity

OBU Overview:
North America is one of the largest offshore BU in India with over 13000 HC spread over
multiple practices. Annual P&L is ~250 m$ and covers the Practices namely CSD, SAP,
Cloud, Testing, Oracle, LiquidHub and Market Units. The Role reports into Global NA &
Canada Practices Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
• Supervision of all the Reporting and activities relating to BU Consolidation & Business Unit
P&L at NA India Entity Level. (Actuals, Forecast, Budget and R’).
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans together with the NA OBU head.
• Manage Monthly & Quarterly operational Forecasting and Actual process.
• Preparation of monthly actuals and rolling 7-month forecasts and the interpretation of
variances from a financial, and operational perspective
• Provide financial governance across Practices and India entity level, participate in monthly
reviews, challenging financial assumptions and identifying key risks
• Consolidation of monthly review pack and production of financial content
• Ensuring the timeliness and reliability of the financial information and follow up wherever
needed on actionable analysis
• Ensure TransFORM compliance for all Finance reporting’s
• Assist in data quality control in statutory and analytical accounting.
• Driving cost management plans with the BU aligning short term and long-term objectives
• Analyse and optimize internal control processes.
• Delivering (ad hoc) analysis/reporting.
• Assist in external and internal audits.
• Support NA India BU head during Business and other reviews.
• The role will also entail responsibility for NA Onshore deliverables namely:
• Annually Creating Standard costs for NA BU & NA I&D BU (End to end)
• Monthly reporting of ARC and ADRC for NA BU (end to end)
• HC Report
• Team Management, Coaching & Motivation.
Professional Experience and qualifications:
• 9-13 years of relevant experience.
• University degree, preferably Financial-Economic oriented or equivalent.
• Qualified accountant, CA, CIMA, ACCA preference.
• Familiar with MS Office and use of financial tools and preferably with systems like HFM
(Hyperion) and also India Hyperion.
• Strong hands on MS Excel
• Strong affinity with the possibilities of IT to develop effective solutions and / or work-around
needed to improve existing processes and systems.
• Strong presentation skills
• Fluent English
