We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Microsoft Pre-sales Solution Architect to play a senior, client-facing role representing the teams capabilities to prospective clients by demonstrating how we bring our extensive experience and expertise to bear on client projects, in support of their objectives.
As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will own the initial technical engagement with prospective clients and build long-term relationships. You will work closely with business development teams, Software Engineers and Architects to discover client needs, provide creative solution designs, project timeline estimations and resources required to deliver some of the biggest and most exciting IT programmes globally, all built on the Microsoft platform. And you’ll work with the leadership team to support, develop and execute our pre-sales strategy.
What you’ll bring
Extensive experience in a combined pre-sales and delivery role with broad experience across Microsoft’s three clouds – Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, Azure and Microsoft 365. You’ll thoroughly understand how Agile projects are delivered at scale and will have experience of long-term project delivery and ongoing sales cycles and building trusted relationships.
- An unrivalled passion for everything to do with Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform.
- Detailed product knowledge and technical expertise of Microsoft three clouds – Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, Azure and Microsoft 365.
- End to end project life cycle delivery experience. From initial discovery through to go live and early life support.
- Experience of long-term project delivery and ongoing sales cycles and building trusted relationships.
- Experience in pre-sales including development of demo’s, client presentations and responding to bids.
- Experience in estimating delivery timelines and resource plans according to both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- You will be comfortable providing technical leadership into early stages of delivery as part of the transition from the sales cycle.

You will be part of developing the teams core offers and develop new ones to meet changing client demands and market trends.
Be a key person interacting with client stakeholders, building relationships and customer trust in the capabilities of Azure, Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform and demonstrate the art of the possible and help inspire clients and colleagues to deliver the best technical solution possible.
You will leverage your network and relationships with Microsoft and promote Capgemini externally.
