Management Consultant – Change Acceleration

Who you’ll be working with

As the digital innovation, consulting and transformation business of the Capgemini Group, Capgemini Invent helps CxOs envision and build what’s next for their organizations. We’re located in more than 30 offices and 10 creative studios around the world, and our 6,000+ strong team combines strategy, technology, data science and creative design with deep industry expertise and insights, to develop new digital solutions and business models of the future.

At Capgemini Invent, we believe transformation begins with invention and ends with results.  This inventive thinking helps clients unlock new opportunities and create what’s next for their organisations.  Ideation and prototyping are key, but so too is helping our clients to scale and industrialise new solutions. The fourth industrial revolution is forcing businesses to rethink their strategy, business model and offerings to their culture – and everything in between.  While emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain continue to evolve, many organisations are still in the dark as to how and where they might be integrated.  Capgemini Invent help our clients address these challenges by designing and creating advanced, real-world digital solutions and the business models of the future, resulting in new value creation and driving their growth.

The focus of your role

In a world of globalisation and constant innovation, business structures are facing an ever-changing technological and socio-economical paradigm. Change management is here to help them to adapt. And to survive.

Companies using change management are six times more likely to achieve the business results they expect. Change is about helping our clients take full advantage of the digital era, to make a workforce more mobile or to answer key questions like: How they achieve a culture change towards digital? How much they need to change the way they approach projects to engage and empower their employees? and How can they conduct a change that is focused on tangible and transformational results?

You will focus on enabling accelerated change with our clients, helping them to bring change to life through key principles such as co-design and empowerment and using engaging tools and techniques such as Design Thinking to support delivery of agile and sustainable change. This will help our clients to transition to a future-ready organisation, reliant not only on deep and wide technology and process evolution, but also on a high level of engagement and motivation of everyone connected to the business including employees, senior leaders and customers.

What you’ll do

Change management includes working with leaders, reshaping organisational roles and aligning performance management targets as well as understanding the cultural barriers that could get in the way of transformation.

You’ll bring experience of delivering sustainable change from a range of clients and industries as well as an agile mindset with an understanding of the relevant tools and techniques. You’ll bring an acute sense of market trends and hot topics about the challenges facing our clients in delivering lasting and sustainable change and leverage your insight to advise our clients. In addition, you’ll have the following experience and personal attributes:

Enablement: Stakeholder analysis; change impact assessment; change measurement and analytics; communications and stakeholder management; training and performance support; focusing on knowledge transfer to the organisation to sustain BAU

Digital Engagement: Confidence in integrating digital tools to communications, learning and analytics; current knowledge and experience of a range of applications to facilitate digital exchange

Personal attributes:

To be successful you’ll be intellectually strong with an excellent academic background, highly motivated, a self-starter, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery, capable of working independently as well as in teams in our collaborative but sometimes demanding project environment.  You’ll need to be credible, with the gravitas to engage effectively with C-level / CXOs on a peer to peer basis.  You’ll enjoy managing a team, providing direction and helping others to develop.  In fact, you’ll thrive in this environment.   You’ll demonstrate consulting professionalism and flexibility – you’ll be able to adjust positively to situations that involve changing tasks and/or location, shifting priorities or ambiguity.
