Job Description

  • Perform IBM ISV Program Product Maintenance Installation and upgrades
  • Problem Diagnosis and Resolution for system related anomalies
  • Making system modifications for enhancement of functions of the zOS operating system and other system software
  • Co ordination with IBM staff for hardware related issues
  • Provide Administration support for various tools
  • Software vendor interface including contacting ISV product vendors for obtaining fixes
  • Provide 24×7 on call support
  • Prepare Disaster recovery plans and perform tests for all the clients in a periodic manner
  • Problem determination resolution and root cause analysis for communication related problems on mainframes
  • Actively Participate in Disaster Recovery Test and z OS refresh programs
