ETL lead will play a key role in leading a team of ETL Developers and will be a single point of contact for all ETL related technical problem and their solutions
Responsible for end to end implementation of Informatica based Guidewire PolicyCenter conversion project Design an Informatica based ETL architecture based on Mapping documents Product Model and Field level specification Create overall ETL technical design document for each entity for conversion from Legacy system to Guidewire system
Partner with Guidewire Gosu team to design xml data model that would be consumed by Gosu web service call Create reusable component in informatica like mapplet worklet re usable transformations etc Create a database design for conversion with multiple layer viz source Stage Layer Target stage Layer Create modify or reuse the Informatica Mapping session workflows and transformations Co ordinate with offshore team on daily basis review team members work ensure ETL best practices are followed and implemented
Create and maintain database script for database design and deployment Create Audit Control Tables to track the ETL load and ETL load issues Lead a team of ETL developers and ensure smooth execution of the project in onshore offshore model Proven experience in working with different Informatica transformations like Joiner lookup aggregator sorter Normalizer Java transformation XML Transformations etc
Prepare deployment plan and artifact to ensure seamless releases Deploy Informatica code and database objects to Higher environment Create Unix scripts for various purposes like pre processing csv files executing ETL workflows with the script handling Unix based Informatica server files Create new and modify existing control M jobs Track defects participate in defect triage call and help QA to resolve the issues
