Industry Marketing Manager – Capgemini, IT Services

Who you’ll be working with

As the industry marketing manager, you will be responsible for executing the global marketing activities for Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) sector within Capgemini Financial Services SBU. Reporting to the Global Industry Marketing Leader for FSSBU, you would be working with stakeholders across BCM BU, global practices and local marketing leads to deliver successful global multichannel campaigns. Your role is to take a customer-first, industry-centric, content-rich approach to deliver campaigns towards elevating our Financial Services brand in market and support the demand generation activities.

The focus of your role

  • Support the development of overall BCM marketing strategy
  • Create relevant campaigns that generate conversations with buyers and influencers and help grow marketing contribution to the pipeline
  • Execute and track multichannel campaigns across the marketing devices such as email campaigns, social media, webinars & events, press releases, social selling etc.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (sales/solutions) to execute marketing strategy for horizontal solutions across banking and capital markets
  • Analyze and report the efficacy of the planned and executed campaigns through marketing automation
  • Develop marketing materials such as product collaterals, digital content, messaging in line with Capgemini brand guidelines
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Capgemini brand in the Financial Services market. This will include the digital distribution of content such as client wins, success stories and thought leadership via digital channels
  • Work with vendors and partners to execute the campaigns
  • Write, proofread and edit technical content from business perspective adding the required marketing flavor to make the content ‘sales-ready’


What you’ll bring

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders globally within and outside the organization.
  • Good business knowledge of the IT landscape and new-age technological innovations. To be able to converse the business imperatives/challenges of the solutions to the stakeholders
  • Enhanced knowledge of the financial services; Banking and Capital Markets preferred. Should be able to understand respective jargons and add value wherever required while conversing with the stakeholders
  • Marketing knowledge across all devices to be able to deliver end-to-end marketing services to all stakeholders; e.g. SEO, website, content syndication and social media
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as CRM systems (Salesforce, SugarCRM, Pardot) Marketo, Google Analytics and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail; is able to story scape the content from group themes across different solutions to tailor it to suit the financial services marketplace
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Skills in project management, marketing, marketing automation and analytics etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communications skills
  • Meeting management and core presentation skills
  • A track record of implementing a marketing strategy
