About the Role/Overview

Role:  Director of Demand Generation, Global Financial Services

Location: New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago

 

Capgemini is looking for an experienced B2B demand generation marketer to join the global Financial Services Marketing Team. In this role, you will own the marketing demand generation strategy and vision to generate inbound leads, promote our brand, support the sales process, and help convert prospects into customers, playing an integral role in executing our marketing strategy. You will lead a diverse, geographically- dispersed team consisting of experienced digital marketers with expertise in digital channel marketing, database management, and sales operations, and skilled in Salesforce, Pardot and Hootsuite.

The ideal candidate will know how to scale demand generation and lead through influence as you educate stakeholders and build a long-term program that generates results. You will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a team-based, customer-focused, and results-oriented environment, and know how to leverage campaign results and client insights to identify opportunities to drive value for key buyers. You will also be proficient in working in all forms of marketing automation, advertising and ABM.

This role reports to the CMO, Financial Services and will be a key member of the marketing leadership team. You will also closely collaborate with colleagues in sales, global business line/services, and sales operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital channel marketing team, enabling demand generation activity through direct channel management. 
  • Build a multi-year, buyer-focused plan to grow brand awareness and customer growth. Own execution of the plan and development of digital campaigns, including target outcomes, key metrics, and resources to deliver.
  • Leverage and optimize all demand gen channels to include SEM, SEO, email, events, content syndication, conferences, webinars, and customer marketing.
  • Ensure the customer is at the heart of all marketing plans, thinking through the overall customer experience and developing connectivity across all communication touchpoints
  • Collaborate with industry, service line/alliance partner marketers and sales to ensure message optimization and cross-functional alignment
  • Build processes that will track and report on key performance metrics and use data to optimize campaign strategies continually. Create an iterative, test and learn approach.
  • Lead a diverse, inclusive and geographically dispersed team of CRM, ABM and data management marketers, inspiring employee engagement and retention
  • Manage budget and communication of ROI. Advise on the effectiveness and future direction of our marketing campaigns and spend

Key Responsibilities

· In alignment with the BU’s goals and Corporate Communications, design an internal communications strategy that spans all the financial services business.

· Execute internal communications plan by leading a team of 3 communications professionals across various geographies.

· Develop a platform for key executive leaders of the business.

· Be the first line of contact for leadership/BU events, as well as all practice communications.

· Establish priorities based upon a clear understanding of strategic relevance to our marketplace objectives and employee engagement goals

· Within plan, define corresponding deliverables, scope, activities and milestones

· Monitor activities and deliverables to track progress against the schedule, resolve risks/issues, manage changes, and successfully deliver quality project requirements on-time.

· Work directly with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and achievement of the plan

· Build-out and continuously improve internal processes and procedures to improve execution and overall decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years-experience in digital performance marketing channels including paid search, programmatic media, and email marketing
  • Proven experience and success building and leading diverse teams of early and mid-career professionals
  • Proven experience driving end-to-end digital journeys, moving customers and prospects through the opportunity funnel and overseeing ABM strategies for B2B firms
  • Expertise in leveraging CRM, marketing automation and other martech systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot)
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
  • Structured thinker, process-oriented and analytical
  • Commercial mindset
