The Focus of Your Role

This role puts you right at the heart of that work, enabling you to build up broad experience in software development and business analysis before you settle on the career path that’s right for you. As well as working with existing clients in both the private and public sectors, you will also have opportunities to help bid teams secure our clients of the future.
To succeed, you’ll need:
- Real passion for technology and IT
- Good understanding of Java, Object Oriented Development, Hadoop, statistical analysis or graphical databases
- Desire to learn additional development languages
- Willingness to challenge and be challenged
- Ideally, a technical, numeric or analytic degree.

At Capgemini, academics form part of our overall hiring decision but we don’t screen out purely on the basis of academic performance. We will assess your suitability for a role using a number of tools including strengths and critical reasoning assessments, video assessment and assessment centres.
