Our customers count on us for the very latest in innovative service offerings & next generation global delivery. We’re currently recruiting for a Finastra Trade Finance Functional Lead to partner with one of our Big4 banking clients. 

 

 Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:  

  • Demonstrate the Finastra Trade Finance application to the client and explain the functionality
  • Influence/Direct the client to adopt ‘Out of Box’ functionality/features 
  • Run Business Process Alignment workshops using MAPS processes to drive ADOPT vs ADAPT behaviour 
  • Liaise with the client to analyse, determine and document the business requirements
  • Make recommendations, provide advice & guidance and also challenge the client in order to help them find a solution to their business needs
  • Capture non-ambiguous business requirements clearly in Business Solution Design Document (BSDD)
  • Identify product configuration and customisation requirements and solution gaps and help Finastra to specify and develop global solutions which will add value to the clients’ business
  • Configure the system as per client needs following best practices
  • Liaise with back office consultants (FBTI) to design front-to-back solution to meet client needs
  • Planning and finalizing the Change requests
  • Support Technical Consultants in Configurations and CR development by providing functional inputs and testing 
  • Advise clients on test planning to ensure successful solution implementation
  • Support the User Acceptance & Operations testing of the system with the client and analyse and resolve/escalate issues
  • Analyse, resolve/escalate problems encountered by the team during the implementation of Finastra products and when interfacing with third party systems – this will include detailed issue escalation and resolution through interaction with Finastra
  • Liaise with the client & Project Managers to understand the client’s conversion, go-live and rollout strategies and to ensure that the solution meets the client’s business needs

 

Let’s talk about your qualifications and experience:  

  • Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant Business Banking experience – preferably in trade finance and/or cash management
  • Previous experience or knowledge of FusionBanking Trade innovation and/or FusionBanking Corporate Channel is desirable
  • Full life cycle Implementation knowledge of a digital channel is preferable 
  • Functional knowledge in Trade Finance Products front and back office – L/C’s, Guarantees and Standby L/C’s, Collections, Bills Financing, Cash letters, Shipping Guarantees, Factoring and Departmental limits, amongst others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
