The Infrastructure Services business unit reflects this joined up approach combining Capgemini’s consulting, infrastructure build and run capabilities and the provision of cloud based services in an integrated global sales and delivery model. The group provides infrastructure outsourcing services, including date centre, helpdesk and network support, as well as providing service integration and service maintenance support. The group also provides infrastructure transformation services, helping clients to virtualise and optimise their estates.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of c30 finance professionals supporting the Infrastructure Services business across the UK.

The focus of your role

The successful candidate will oversee the financial control and management of the Energy and Utility portfolio within the Cloud Infrastructure Services business. Key aspects of the role include:

• Ensure reliable and timely monthly reporting of Actuals and Forecasts for the portfolio of Accounts
• Provide the Management with valuable analysis on variances and risks
• Ensure compliance to accounting standards, including internal standards
• Raise financial and commercial awareness throughout the portfolio of accounts through training and best practice
• Preparation and active attendance at the monthly Management review meetings which are attended by members of the Cloud Infra NEU Leadership Team
• Reporting and management of WIP, BIA and Debt
• Production of the 3 year plan and annual budgets for the portfolio of account
• Staff Management

What you’ll bring

• Qualified Accountant.
• Expert proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Background in outsourced IT services or similar environments, preferably with project accounting experience.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, must be credible with senior management.
• Able to prioritise and organise own work to deliver to agreed deadlines.
• Experience of preparation of all aspects of financial information
• Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of Oracle/Business Objects
• Must be enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and willing to travel when required

The successful candidate will need to gain Baseline Standard (BPSS) level of security clearance, before role commencement.
