Why this role?

You will have the opportunity to:

In managing the day to day finances of the IRM business you will be business partner to the IRM leadership team and communicating across the new Capgemini organization IRM is joining.

  • You will have ownership of monthly reporting cycles, including monthly actuals, rolling forecast and budget setting/performance
  • Support the IRM leadership team in understanding their financial performance, key KPIs and the levers they have to improve financial performance
  • Preparation and presentation of the financial position at monthly reviews to senior business leaders.
  • Provide the Management with valuable analysis on variances and key risks
  • Manage a finance team of 3 that specifically supports the IRM business and supporting their integration into Capgemini
  • You will be at the center of the financial integration of IRM into Capgemini: aligning existing IRM processes to Capgemini group reporting requirements, lead the transition of the business from their current financial systems and processes onto Capgemini systems and likely support the legal entity merger and associated impacts on financial reporting.
  • Raise financial and commercial awareness throughout the business through training and sharing best practice
  • Pro-actively get involved in improving reporting and processes across Finance

Why you?

You are flexible and dynamic and have the energy, commitment and resilience to achieve your targets in challenging and evolving business environments. Highly credible and collaborative, you have the ability to influence others and have a proven track record in a similar environment.

  • You prioritize and organize your own work and for others to deliver to agreed deadlines whilst sharing your experience with them. Constantly striving to improve processes and practices, you consider ‘the bigger picture’ when making decisions.
  • You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Background in outsourced IT services or similar environments would be ideal but not essential, likewise experience in project accounting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills: credible with senior management.
  • People management skills to lead a small team
  • Experience of preparation of all aspects of financial information
  • Able to prioritize and organize own work, to deliver to agreed deadlines.
  • Self-motivation to work remotely and willing to do a small amount of travel to different office locations when required (and when able to do so safely with Coronavirus restrictions)
  • Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Excel are desired
