Financial Planning and Forecasting – Supports fiscal year planning process by providing historical data and trend information for review. Inputs plan into firm’s planning system and distributes final plan to functional management. Supports the preparation of periodic forecasts for management review.

  • Cost Optimization: Candidate should have detailed eye for various kinds of spend in the portfolio and should be able to recommend areas of cost optimization to management
  • Supports the financial reporting and analysis, which includes validating and publishing financial results to the business leaders on a timely manner. This includes providing data and reports for analysis and completing research on variances to plan, prior year, and forecasts. Also prepares periodic flash report for further review.
  • Close activities: There is hard closure of books every month. The candidate is expected to ensure appropriate costs are booked in the system, in case of any variance it should be supported by proper analysis and reasoning along with backup
  • Will need to work very closely with assigned supervisor on day to day activities and deliverables

  • Strong writing skills (good at structuring the report and articulating the key findings); Ability to   synthesize ideas in clear, logical, and precise written English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with overseas colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.
  •  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and will possess strong organizational skills.
  • Responsible for the preparation, coordination and review of financial accounting analyses and journal entries to properly recognize actual results for material components of the client’s operations.
  • Required to prepare a wide range of financial reporting applicable to scope of the assigned responsibilities. Analyzes transactions, understands and explains variances, and proactively identifies potential problems and solutions.
  • Need to have good understanding of financial concepts and Accounting entries
  • Should be good at Ms Excel
