An overview of the role

If you enjoy Employee Relations and TUPE this is an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious HR professional who is looking to take the next step in their career.  Sitting in a friendly and hard-working team, you will support our ER Manager with a busy and innovative ER agenda.  In addition, you will support on TUPEs and restructuring activity, working in partnership with local HR Business Partners and our TUPE team.

You will play an active role in defining our practices, standards, and ways of working, and apply them to your role. Be open to working across organisation and team boundaries to ensure we bring the best to our customers.
 

Why this role?

Proven track record in HR specifically with a good grounding in employment law and case management.
Strong interest in ER including policy development.
Experience of TUPEs or an understanding and strong interest in TUPE.

You’ll be pro-active, approachable, and able to work at pace supporting your ER Manager and the TUPE team.  We would love you to bring some creative flare and innovation to policy development.  You’ll also have good stakeholder management skills, with a focus on informal resolution, as well as the ability to work at scale and the flexibility to react to changing priorities around deliverables.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of working in a large scale organisation,
  • Provide well-constructed advice and solutions, promoting best practice & innovative thinking on case management with resolution at the heart.
  • The ability to build relationships with, and to influence, key stakeholders in the business.
  • Good attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
  • A commercial awareness with a developing ability to articulate HR in terms of business benefit.
