Engagement Manager & Solution Architect


Job Overview: Engagement Manager & Solution Architect with experience in Financial Services / Payments industry. Experience in large platform transformation engagements is a must have.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Advice the client on best practices from Industry as well as Capgemini.

Validate data organization at a subject area level to enable the target services, exposed through well-defined API’s – supporting both future state and legacy.

Review and validate the conceptual target architecture

Identify the data Integration/access patterns

Identify key requirements for logical design, physical design

Determine transaction characteristics

NFSR – Availability, Performance and Scalability, Reliability, Retention, RPO

Product analysis and selection (leveraging Capgemini expertise – excludes RFP, vendor, etc.)

Conduct focused “tech reviews” as needed to validate product selection recommendations


Skill, Experience & General information Required:

Total IT architecture experience – 16+ Years

Big Data Architecture experience – 5+ Years

Financial services/Payments industry experience – Must have Financial Services experiences

Strong experience in Enterprise solution architecture, SOA, Real Time data services architecture

Experience in large platform transformation engagements (leadership experience in such projects will be an added advantage)

Ability to work with Business and Enterprise architects to lead discussions and drive conclusions for business and  IT architecture

Lead Program plan and solution road map development for Big Data enabled IT transformations (Operational platform experience preferred)

Experience in product evaluation of various big data solutions and provide recommendations

Working with cross functional technology and business teams to develop platform capability matrix

Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
