Engagement Manager of complex IT engagement processes Major banks and insurance companies are outsourcing projects and programs on a regular basis to Capgemini Most of the times these are complex projects which have a major impact on the business processes of clients We use new technologies and several Capgemini business units work together in a distributed delivery model to develop a product Most assignments are large scale projects which involve certain risks for our company if we do not complete the project in time within scope and budget For us it is important that we have the right person to manage this kind of projects and programs In this role it is important that you understand the business of our client and technology Next to that you also have knowledge of project and program management methods and techniques You are also experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders to convince them about the project goals Finally leadership qualities and a strong commercial feeling are essential in this position to deal with setbacks and for realizing new opportunities What will you be doing You are involved in the process of finetuning the deal.
Technical Requirements/ Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree You have at least 7 years of experience in managing complex fixed price fixed date and fixed quality IT AD projects You have business knowledge and knowledge about technology You have excellent communication skills in English You have experienced with distributed delivery and software delivery models SAFe Agile DevOps.
You will work with our business developers and technical experts to develop the solution the winning strategy and if we are awarded for the contract the client contracts You are responsible for the start up execution and closure of the project and you know which disciplines are needed to manage and deliver the project as agreed and in accordance with budget.
You are cooperating with internal and external stakeholders to gain support for your ideas and plans You inspire and mobilize the distributed delivery teams in accordance with the project goals You will inform the client and the Capgemini organization with accurate information about the progression of your engagement You are managing issues and risks of your engagement to avoid escalations You are managing the change management process in an effective manner in case of additional requirements of the customer.
You will define and share best practices in a way they can be useful for future projects What do you bring You are a natural leader and you are motivated by delivering excellent results in cooperation with others You are energetic eager and involved You are keen on changing dynamics and the interests of clients on assignments and you know how to manage them You are also able to capitalize commercial opportunities.
