EDI Opentext Consultant

• Should have 7+ years of experience on EDI tool EDI-OpenText.
• Should have 7+ years of experience on EDI tool EDI-OpenText.
• Hands-on experience and strong knowledge on EDI tool EDI-OpenText.
• Strong knowledge in EDI Standards ANSI X12, EDIFACT and their transaction sets. Also, should be able to understand other EDI in-house formats including Flat file, CSV, XML, RND, VDA.
• Strong understanding of principles and implementation of data Communication Protocols such as OFTP2, AS2, FTPS/ SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, PGP, VPN.
• Hand-on knowledge over certificate management (Self-signed or Trusted CA) and understanding of Public/ private keys and SSH keys handling.
• Good understanding of EDI integration with SAP in SD area – (It will be Added Advantage).
• Experience working with SAP systems and the various inputs and outputs (IDOC, XML).
• Knowledge of End to end inbound and outbound flow Business process.
• Strong in EDI Mapping / configurations using Open-text
• Understanding of Development Methodologies, Knowledge on error debugging, monitoring.
• Can work independently; is self-motivated and deadline/SLA driven.
• Should have ITIL knowledge (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management).
• Knowledge of Service Now tool – It will be added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong commitment to quality documentation and engineering excellence.
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability.
• Engaging directly with customers to collect information about user issues and provides direction and assistance through diagnostic procedures to remedy issues and identify root causes.
• Solving complex data integration and data management challenges.
• Ability to ramp up across multiple applications on a portfolio stack and manage priorities and bandwidth across the stack.
• Must be able to support production tickets L2/L3 within stipulated SLAs (Response / Resolution time).
• Additional enhancements (minor) to be able to analyse, design, test and integrate.
• On-Call support as required on rotation basis.
• Rapidly learning new technology, including OpenText’s portfolio of software products and cloud-based services.
• Proven ability to work under pressure with limited supervision and to think clearly in high-pressure situations.
