Digital Marketing Analyst

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Seven to eight years of working with standard content management systems, viz. Drupal, WordPress, and analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.
  • Good understanding of natural and paid search, display and social media
  • Experience in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies preferred
  • Good knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Webmaster Tools, Moz, etc.
  • Strong background in content management, content layout, UI/UX principles
  • Understanding of web and social traffic, and ability to draw traffic statistics, analytics and data modelling
  • Five to six years of experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Continuous integration knowledge (Selenium, Behat or other) is desirable



Job description

You will be part of the global Marketing & Creative Services team (MACS) and will be responsible for working with marketing teams (onshore & offshore) to –

  • Update content on the website
  • Implementing SEO strategy and contributing to the goals & success of the digital strategy
  • Industrializing and generating meaningful KPI dashboards for content on the site
  • Understand the overall digital landscape of the organization as well as that of key competitors


Key Responsibilities

Web Content Management

  • Create and manage content on the CMS through integration of text, images, documents and videos, in a timely manner, ensuring quality
  • Perform quality checks and audits to identify and resolve issues (typos, broken links, functionality errors, poor usability, etc.)
  • Ensure that content publication follows governance principles and visual identity guidelines

Search Engine Optimization

  • Perform keyword research in conjunction with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations taking into consideration website architecture
  • Provide recommendations for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and updates

Reporting and Analysis

  • Developing custom dashboard for regular & precise reporting
  • Reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends
  • Providing actionable insights based on the available analytical data
  • Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and user journeys
  • Reporting on SEO goals, and search performance across major search engines
  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns
  • Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestion / presentations for improving those processes.

  • Collaborating with the web application team and social media team
