Title – DataOps Practice Lead

Location – NYC, NY

Duration – Fulltime

The role is both technology centric and sales facing The role will define the practice s capabilities its multiyear roadmap vendor partnership decisions and take the practice to the market with account executive to enable sales

The role is based out of New York City and is at a Director Sr Director level Bring thought leadership in forming a DataOps practice focusing on intelligent data integration continuous integration deployment of data pipelines data virtualization data migration data as a platform and other relevant capabilities

  • Must be well versed with DataOps and DevOps Agile principals with foresight to continuously stay ahead of the competition
  • Develop a partnership ecosystem with key vendors like Data Kitchen Tamr Composable Nexla Delphix Data Buck etc
  • Help in defining minimum value proposition for the offerings and overseeing the development of it with deep understanding of financial industry data ecology and evolving trends
  • Be able to partner with off shore counterpart and CoE for practice development and delivery
  • Collaborating with sales account executives to form an effective go to market strategy for a Q1 2019 launch
  • Spearhead client presentations and proof of value with the aim of growing Capgemini s footprint rapidly in banking and capital markets insurance and other industries
  • Being able to evaluate products in the marketplace and their future roadmap to form meaningful partnership decisions
  • An out of the box thinker measured risk taker and an effective communicator
  • 5 years’ experience in leading development of DataOps and DevOps integration implementations Architectural understanding of ETL ELT Big Data Analytics Data Lakes Analytics and cloud platform services

Required:

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent with 15 years’ experience
  • 5 years’ experience in Marketing Sales and account development Understanding of financial industry data operations with preferably 5 10 year financial industry experience
  • Very strong communications Quick thinking and improvisation abilities
  • Available to travel
  • Development background in the above areas are desirable but not essential
