Job Title:: Data Steward Consultant

•    Understands all aspects of Data Governance including but not limited to Data Lineage Metadata Data Quality Data Remediation and Issue Management
•    Responsible for gathering business requirements and creation of data feed prototypes for data feed development 
•    Conduct and coordinate UAT on content related data feed technology changes that involve modifications to the way data is extracted transformed or loaded 
•    Design data quality checks and performance metrics to assess data health and detect deficiencies and improvement with our data sources or internal data processes 
•    Active engagement with key product stakeholders to ensure client data experience is aligned and exceeding expectations 
•    Understanding of data lifecycle management data modelling master data management and carrying out business audits and requirements gathering 
•    Discover document and manage metadata including data provenance data dictionaries identifier systems and namespaces code systems code mappings and validation rules 
•    Engage with the business users involved in Data processes to ensure Data Quality KPIs are in line with business objectives and KPIs 
•    Responsible for identifying golden sources of data sets and guiding users and application development to use these 
•    Responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of a business data dictionary that is aligned to physical data assets and the business glossary for the definition and maintenance of a group s data landscape including end to end data flows transformations and data lineage 
•    Investigate and understand root causes of product data quality issues Work with source data applications and owners to understand the root cause and resolve product data quality and integrity issues 
•    Data Profiling to identify gaps problems and recommend viable options to resolve 
•    Expertise in COLLIBRA is must
