Jon Description

Overview Lead team of data engineers reporting and data analysts and developers to leverage industry standards around data warehousing solutions Working closely with Program Director CDO and several stakeholders across many lines of service to manage the large scale enterprise data warehouse platform including day to day monitoring new initiatives and supporting organization data transformation program

Be accountable for and contribute to the design developing and testing data integrations and engineering for a data warehouses and business intelligence Manages the daily activities of the team responsible for the design implementation maintenance and support of data warehouse systems and related data marts

Oversees data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories Manages a team of administrators who support user provisioning platform support scalability software versioning and cost Ensure SLO and cost management based uptime for non prod and prod platforms Lead all activities related to technical and user support of the EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse related functions and services Manage 24×7 production support

Creating and maintaining the production support processes to ensure compliance to audit and other regulations and or based on audit findings Manage and review work of data modelers that develop conceptual logical and physical data models Strong execution organized on time and delivery focused with high quality for all projects within the portfolio Manage resource planning exercises to optimize the mix of needed resources available within the team and or project

Support incident resolution as needed within SLA requirements Participate and manage team participation in root cause analysis leading to clear process changes and improvements Reduce Production Support needs over time through strategic transformation of data BI and analytics tools and delivery Identify and scope projects and ensure the successful execution of initiatives leveraging agile project methodologies

12 years experience in data movement ETL ELT etc data warehouse and architecture

5 years experience leading large scale EDW ETL BI DBA and Prod Support team 5 years experience data warehousing architecture with focus on analytics data lake consumption zones data warehouse etc Experience with Data Warehousing related technologies such as Netezza Yellowbrick ETL Tools Informatica Powercenter Data Quality Informtica IDQ Informatica IISC BI Tools Microstrategy Tableau SSRS SSAS Data Governance Collibra Azure Cloud tools

Experience with data modeling and data warehouse data lake design for the enterprise Experience in a broad variety of data techniques patterns tools and methodologies Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and understand complex issues Exceptional trouble shooting problem solving and root cause analysis skills
