Job Responsibilities

Job Description

Architect modern data integration frameworks highly scalable distributed systems using AWS services
Collaborate and partner with business domain leads data scientists product owners enterprise architects and other functional leads to deliver world class data solutions
Architect data processing frameworks for ingestion and DQ
Work with peers and technical personnel members of the Data Analytics Office DAO team and business partners to assemble data from various sources into datasets to analyze the information to solve technical business problems and improve business efficiency
Define data migration strategy and roadmap for core insurance systems leveraging knowledge of data pipelines ETL and insurance domain knowledge
Participate in product evaluation for semantic layer
Capacity planning and provisioning of all AWS services Design and develop migration solution to migrate data and other objects to AWS
Able to envision realize and articulate the business value delivered by enterprise wise data programs to key client business stakeholders
Create and present business cases for data related projects
Migration on premise EDW application to AWS EMR using Spark Python Hive Scala Skills

Required Skills

10 Years of experience in IT 3 years of experience in Data Platform Architecture Design in AWS
Understanding of different migration options for moving on premise database and applications to cloud approach to do assessment and implementation planning
Having fine understanding of different types of cloud services capable of translating Capability Requirements into Cloud Service Requirements Storage Compute Connectivity Networking Scaling Sizing Availability Security Data Replication
Experience in defining and implementing Standards and Best Practices Solid understanding of IAM Rols AAD Service Principals Shared Access Signature Access keys
Experience in Defining Roles Access Controls requirements implementation of role based access control
Experience in designing Data Lake and aspects of managing data lake on cloud
Solid understanding and experience of various databased options in the cloud NOSQL Relational Graph Experience of DevOps Adoption DevOps
Best practices Understanding of containerization experience in implementing any leading kuberentes service in the cloud

Job Location Remote with up to 50% travel requirement
