Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the business case elaboration
  • Requirements analysis
  • Requirements clarification with client Business users (if required)
  • Translating and simplifying requirements for the Development Team
  • Requirements management and communication with Development Team and with Client IT / Business Users
  • Co-ordination with customer to understand any change in requirements
  • Defining configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Preparation of test cases / Test case scenarios
  • Preparation of end user related documents

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • More than 8 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst, Business Consultant in Life Insurance domain (or any Financial Services domains)
  • Experiences in IT Application Development or Testing projects
  • Experience of a global project, which involved multiple countries and time zones (at least 1 project).
  • Able to establish positive relationships with IT staff, business partners and other key stakeholders
  • Strong ability to perform analysis of complex business, data, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making.
  • Must possess good meeting facilitation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with experience working in multi-location cross disciplinary teams
  • Experience in tools like MS Office, Visio, MPP and Access desirable  

Language Proficiency:
Proficient in Japanese and English will be required, at least Business level both in writing and speaking
