Job description:

Title: Business Analyst

Location: New York

Business Analyst within a
programme team, helping deliver projects against cost, schedule, quality and
time. The programme is the build and delivery of CCAR data sourcing initiative
Key Responsibilities Elicit, understand and document business requirements
getting them from the end users, product owners, ability to identify and
document use cases and write functional specifications. Very good understanding
of SDLC process and Agile methodology and iterative delivery of items in
production. Ability to create technical documentation of existing functionality
including data elements, definition, description and relationships among data
entities, workflows and other primary components of applications. Should have
managed stakeholders at different levels including technology teams.

This is a hands-on role and
includes proactive involvement in the following aspects of Project:

•Working with Business to document BRDs, writing Functional
Specifications in discussion with the product owners / lead developers

•Data analysis at source and destination to understand
entity relationships

•Understand application data model to help drive the change
by documenting data specific changes, mapping to sourced upstream data and
downstream reports

•Understand data quality issues and typical remediation

•Hands-on experience of working with large data sets in

•Ability to create UI mockups in excel / visio or other such

• Quality Management by writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and
overseeing the testing;

•Stakeholder Management at different levels


Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s
Degree 5-7 years of Business and data analysis experience Strong BA within a
banking environment (preferably investment banking) Working knowledge of
Operations / risk & regulatory control Understanding of the full
development lifecycle and experience in Agile Highly effective verbal and
written communication skills
