BI Developer

Ideal candidate

– Minimum 1 year experience;
– Knowledge about banking and banking products;
– Understanding and knowledge of some business domains;
– SQL, PL/SQL (advanced level), Unix shell programming;
– Knowledge of DI (Data integration) tools, field ETL and Scheduling tools;
– Data integration patterns and architecture solutions patterns knowledge;
– Knowledge of development processes;
– Knowledge and experience with data development and Data Warehousing solutions,
understanding data warehouse architecture with a dimensional data model;
– Basic knowledge of Data Quality and MDM tools (CDI, PIM);
– Modelling and design knowledge as well as knowledge of data modelling products;
– Technical and ETL architecture knowledge;
– Experience with systems development methodologies within a large corporate environment;
– Preferable experience in complex environments as far as volumes of data.

Job description

– Is responsible for development, unit testing and documentation of ETL, Data Quality (DQ) and/or Master Data Management (MDM) programs from specifications, and assist in troubleshooting;
– Utilize SQL (Oracle), PL/SQL, shell, Java and other programming languages to perform tasks other than data transformation or data quality;
– Assist in the analysis and subsequent developments;
– Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality and program quality;
– Design and implement technical enhancements of Data Warehouse, Data quality management or MDM solutions as required;
– Is responsible for support level 3 activities solving production incidents thus assuring proper continuity of business activities within agreed SLAs;
– Contributes to an efficient communication within the team as well as among other departments;
– Collaborates with other IT division/departments, enterprise architecture, release management and project management units in order to align execution of all necessary steps to deliver the project/CR;
– Cooperates with other business or supporting units relevant to project delivery;
– Ensures and verifies alignment with standards, policies and procedures in place;
– Fulfills any tasks received in relation with his / her work and activity, provided by the hierarchical superior and which do not contradict the actual legislation.
