Job Description

To install, upgrade, maintain and customise Software AG software including Adabas and Natural
To manage and carry out project work related to Software AG products
To build new environments as required by the business
To proactively monitor Adabas and related software and to take action to prevent potential issues and to maximise performance
To improve such monitoring and increase automation where possible
To ensure that recovery processes are in place and tested
To assist users with the analysis of issues with system processes including code promotion
To thoroughly document the environment and all activities performed
To work closely with the client, operations and other technicians to create robust plans and processes in line with business requirements

Exceptionally strong ADABAS experience (V8 and above) – Internals/Fundamentals/Installation and Operations
Large ADABAS installation operations experience with multiple databases and Expanded file manipulation experience
