060510-Senior Applications Consultant – Oracle Cloud Financials – RapidShift Lead

 •    A minimum of 12 years of Functional experience with Oracle Financials (AP , AR , FA , CM , GL , SLA ) modules with additional knowledge on SCM (OM,INV,Proc)
•    Candidate should have worked both on EBS & Cloud (Example 8 Years on EBS and 4 Years on Cloud) so that he/she/they understand the similarities & differences between the two Oracle products.
•    Candidate should be able to identify which EBS functionality can / cannot be upgraded to cloud . 
•    Candidate should be able to map any Custom EBS function which is available by default on Cloud (without customization).
•    Experience could be either functional implementation or functional support but good hands on functional configuration experience is mandatory.
•    Should have worked on 5 to 8 Data Migration / Conversion projects so that he/she/they understand data flow , validations , issues, and resolutions during migration.
•    Should have functionally validated the data migration (either by using Standard Reports or Custom Reports/extracts) 
•    Experienced in writing simple SQL queries both on EBS as well as Cloud to generate extracts for comparison as needed.
•    Well-versed with EBS FSG & Cloud OTBI/FRWS/SmartView Reporting. 
•    Should be able to work with technical team to get complex queries written but verify output functionally. 
•    Should be able to interpret BR100 and create documentation as needed for client demos.    
•    Hands-on experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders & driving meetings.
•    Excellent Communication and Client handling skills.
•    It will be preferred if candidate has experience working as a Customer Success manager.
Location – Houston , TX – First Preference
Second Preference – Dallas or Austin.

 

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Applications Consultants have expertise in a specific technology environment.  They are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE).  These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices and are accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design. Alternatively, you are responsible for operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience. You are seen as active member within technology communities.

 

• Qualification: Minimum 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2.

• Must have experience in Package Configuration.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
