Lead the development and on-going maintenance of our target state data architecture roadmap in collaboration with technology and business partners. Ensure on-going alignment of new and existing data initiatives with the target state data architecture.
Drive technical architecture meetings and help clients select the right architecture for their solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements today and in future. Define standards and best practices for enterprise data management framework.
Develop PoCs, POV, strategies, and provide direction around data security, archiving, and retention, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Play an active role in all stages of a data solution life cycle: acquisition, data modelling, ingestion, curation, publication, quality and metadata to ensure consistency with data management standards and best practices.
Assist with data-related technical challenges and perform root-cause analysis to answer specific business questions and recommend and implementing ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
10+ years of experience related to the delivery of information technology solutions with 5+ year demonstrated experience in designing and delivering data/information architectures and data architectures
Demonstrated experience with concepts of data integration, data governance, business intelligence technologies considered an asset. Strong understanding of data modeling (dimensional, data vault, etc.) principles, data mapping, profiling and techniques based on established methodologies (e.g., Kimbll)
Experience delivering project on Azure ADF ,Databricks pipelines ,functions ,ADLS(Gen2) and other BI Tools and technologies.
Good Knowledge in (and/or) PL/SQl, Hadoop, Hive, sqoop, python, Pyspark, Scala spark , Kafka, Redshift/Spectrum, Snowflake and other related big data related technologies and have related project experience.
Experience developing data standards, best practices, processes, and definitions of project and data requirements in support of strategy and ongoing operational support.
Should have developed architecture and design for multiple client engagements aligning to their business needs.
Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of analytical data modelswith an experience in deploying data solutions in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Apply concepts, industry research, best practices and agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) to implement Big Data solutions
Experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platform, budgeting, and governance.
Nice to Have knowledge of Machine Learning ,Python ,R and other Data science technologies
Knowledge of SAS language.
Strong experience with data warehousing, big data and cloud technologies with focus on the data architecture discipline.
Data catalog software (Informatica EDC, IBM Infosphere, Collibra)Data quality management (IBM IA, Informatica IDQ)
Hands-on experience in architecture, design and development of enterprise data solutions that enables well integrated transactional, BI and analytical platforms.
Dev 401 Certification, Sales or Service Cloud Consultant (added advantage)
TOGAF certification would be an asset

• Qualification: 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
