Marketing Transformation Lead

Capgemini Connected Marketing group is a new business line focused on delivering long term marketing outsourcing services. Our group has strong ambitions to accelerate growth in North America.  We are seeking an experienced Sr Manager to lead Marketing Transformations across our North America client portfolio  You will lead transformations across industries at our strategic client accounts delivering our new marketing solutions. 

The Marketing Transformation lead plays a key role in a critical growth opportunity in North America.

As part of the North America team, you will report into the NA Head of Marketing Services and work closely to operationalize/implement new agency solutions across industries. Additionally, you will provide insight and expertise on these solutions. 

Primary Responsibilities

Delivery

• Lead design and implementation of new operating models between our clients and agency services team.  It will encompass people, process, technology and governance within and across marketing organizations in order to meet desired business outcomes for long term agency outsourcing deals.

• Lead optimization effort of the implemented operating model and work directly with client senior leadership to roll-out transformational changes.

• Work closely with your team to develop and implement best practices in operating model design and implementation

• Gather and analyze information from various marketing teams to determine most valuable opportunities to improve integrated marketing performance and operations

• Evaluates and streamlines business processes to maximize efficiency

• Lead activation engagements of new workflow, technology and/or agile ways of working

• Responsible for the delivery output and SLAs as agreed upon with our client(s).  Point of contact with the client leaders at your accounts across Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Automation and Media Monitoring (Comms function)

• Addresses performance issues across the client; create the operational approach and implements continuous improvement

Offering & Agency Development

• Develop relationship with various internal and client stakeholders to understand and assess opportunities for fueling growth and bring thought leadership and innovation to client

• Solution design Marketing Services during the sales/client education process to fit their business and drive outcomes

• Provide input in developing new value propositions and pitch presentations by industry and solution area

• Support NA Head of GTM to shape new offerings

• Develop direct client relationships where required to present new offerings, capabilities and value proposition

 

Required experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other equivalent

• 8+ years team/people management of 15+ resources

• 12+ years of work experience, ideally withing a digital marketing agency or marketing consulting agency.  3+ years working in a matrixed and/or global organization and comfortable navigating complexity.

• 8+ years client delivery role in the areas of Marketing Automation, Campaign, Content design & production, Digital Marketing and MarTech

• (Desirable) 2+ years, in some capacity, business development

Required Knowledge & Competency

• Platform implementation experience across email marketing, media monitoring, and CMS

• Ability to seamlessly intersect consulting skills, strategy, and marTech to drive and improve clients’ business results

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and internal leaders

• Great communication and storytelling skills

• Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and Operations across multiple regions

• Experience in delivering large Digital Marketing projects from an offshore location

• Ability to work collaboratively across regions as well as with centralized teams

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Strong client facing experience

• Continuous learner. Shows interest in new developments; is willing to learn; remains open to new ideas and thinking.
