The Service – Supplier Quality Project Manager is the prime contractor from the analysis to the deployment of solutions in production and in service that maximize the reliability of our fleets of electric, hybrid, natural gas and diesel vehicles.

Thanks to it, transportation companies in North American cities are able to offer a quality and safe public transit service while helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In this role, he collaborates with the Customer Support Team and our supplier partners to ensure a rapid resolution of supplier quality problems with the support of the various departments (R&D, Purchasing, Contracts, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, …).

Carries out with suppliers the characterization and analysis of the root causes of anomalies observed on the different systems (motorization, transmission, HVAC, tires, doors, …) using the various diagnostic tools

· Establishes action plans to ensure that quality issues encountered are corrected at the source and supports multidisciplinary action plans

· Determines technical solutions with suppliers and ensures their validation for production and service at the supplier, prototyping center or customer

· Has solutions approved by the Product Development team and by the Transport Companies

· Provides technical support during business negotiation with suppliers for customer campaigns

· Acts as a service project representative on product modification projects

· Contributes to the improvement of service report management and resolution processes

· Occasionally travels to customers and suppliers in Canada and the U.S. to investigate supplier quality issues or validate solutions

Qualifications requises:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• 5 years of relevant experience in support, design, quality and/or technical project management

for mechanical systems or components

• Experience in a manufacturing company is an asset

• Good project management skills

• Analytical mind and rigor

• Good communication and ease of teamwork

 

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.

 

• Certification: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2, 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor's degree

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
