Role description:Evaluate supplier capability and potential in several aspects to be a Volvo supplier. Support Supply Quality Engineers and other stakeholders with knowledge and experience in critical production technologies where deeper knowledge is needed to assess the supplier's capability to produce a certain part or component.    
    
SQD Supplier Qualité Development Role: The Supplier Quality Development Coordinator participates in the selection and development of supplier potential in accordance with Volvo's values and processes. As part of this, he or she establishes effective communications with suppliers to ensure prompt handling of quality issues. Responsibilities: • Support purchasing and engineering in the development and selection of suppliers. • Lead and collaborate on supplier manufacturing evaluations. • Monitor suppliers during design with an APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning approach. • Participate, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, in the Review technical specifications (RTS) and plan the submission of the production part approval process (PPAP) with the supplier, follow up, ensure that deadlines are met and provide approval to the supplier to start production. • Identify potential risks in supplier manufacturing processes and make improvements to reduce these risks. • Manage the overall supplier performance evaluation system and participate in the establishment of supplier objectives. • Require action plans for recurring quality or process issues. • Manage Suppliers process audit remotely or on site. • Support the production line in the event of a major quality crisis related to supplier responsibility. • Participate with the multidisciplinary team responsible for resolving service quality problems. Education and experience: • Bachelor of Engineering. • 7 years of relevant experience in quality, ideally with suppliers. • Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector. • Experience as an auditor.
Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.

 

• Certification: Should have SE Level 1 and seeking level 2, 6-8 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor's degree

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
