What You'll Do Here

We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate with distinguished engineers to solve some of the most challenging problems in artificial intelligence data engines. You will create solutions that push the boundaries of technology in order to improve the customer experience, add value to the product, and ensure safety is at the forefront of every advancement in technology. You will participate in various software development cycles to discover the real problems in AD data engines, design robust and scalable solutions, and implement your ideas into production in order to make tomorrow’s vehicles a reality today.

  • Design, evaluate, and improve the capabilities of state-of-the-art image sensor prototypes and systems
  • Collaborate with the design and body engineering teams to integrate and package sensor components
  • Develop the sourcing documents, camera specifications
  • Code, debug, and test services in C++, Python, Golang
  • Package services into containers and deploy them to cloud on container management system like Kubernetes
  • Execute performance analysis, profiling applications to determine bottlenecks to scalability using profiling tools for C++, Python, etc
  • Document and provide full traceability to code and write meaningful test cases for code
  • Understand build and debug toolchains for C++ on various OS like Ubuntu, Linux, Windows
  • Define the signals needed to be exchanged between sensors and other systems in the vehicles
  • Ensure the conformity of required operational conditions such as temperature, EM, power, vibration, etc
  • Complete vehicle level verification, validation, and tuning of sensors
  • Support the product development for Autonomous Driving and ADAS features such as Highway Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alerts, and Blind Spot Detection
  • Assist in the development of sensor calibration and production manufacturing processes
  • Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems using standard diagnostic tools


What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience developing Embedded software and/or systems to support Autonomous Driving and/or ADAS features
  • Expertise on automotive image sensors to support ADAS systems
  • Expertise in programming and code development in C++, Python, QNX
  • Expertise in large data set processing and familiarity with Real-Time systems
  • Experience supporting products and systems with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, and related tools
  • Experience supporting automotive communication protocols using tools to measure and command signals through scripting or otherwise
  • Experience performing optical study to determine operational capability of different image sensor and lens combinations
  • Experience with Vector tools such as CANape and CANalyzer
  • Experience with Unified Diagnostics Services
  • Proficient with automotive hardware packaging and related analysis methods
  • Proficient with sensor calibration and validation
  • Knowledge of camera related SerDes architecture
  • Knowledge of ANSYS SPEOS optical simulation tools
  • Knowledge of automotive communication architectures such as CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet
  • Familiar with automotive regulations and functional safety standards such as ASPICE, ISO:26262
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional level of creativity and passion for asking what if
