The North America Office of General Counsel of Capgemini has an immediate opening for a paralegal/contracts manager with 5-7+ years of in-house legal experience.
The role will report to the Deputy General Counsel.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role are to:
-Assist with corporate governance and legal entity management, such as drafting resolutions and managing routine corporate filings.
-Support the legal and internal business teams to review, negotiate, execute, and maintain standard contractual agreements including but not limited to NDAs and Statements of Work.
-Manage and maintain the Company’s contract management infrastructure, including maintenance of contracts as well as related reports.
-Advise business clients on legal policies, approval processes, and procedures.
-Assist with or lead internal projects for internal operations or external compliance and assist with the organization of team initiatives.
-Formal legal training such as a paralegal certificate preferred
-Solid experience in corporate governance/legal entity management
-Solid experience with the full-life cycle of contract management including drafting and negotiation, approval, execution, renewal, or termination, including NDA’s, preparing amendments, and generating contract status reports.
-Experience working with DocuSign, Salesforce and document management systems preferred
-Strong Microsoft application skills required (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams)
-Detail-oriented self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment, with ability to meet key deadlines
-Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills, including across functions within the organization
-Outstanding written communication skills
