Job Description  

 

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for planning and delivering Capgemini’s Accelerated Adoption strategy, direction, and support on client transformation initiatives.  This is a key role in ensuring projects meet desired business outcomes through the effective application of structured and deliberate change management approach and methodology. The OCM Lead supports executives, project leaders, and business stakeholders throughout the duration of the engagement by providing sound advice, counsel, and execution support. 

 

Roles / Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate well with project leaders and team members, build, and maintain solid relationships with client executives, leadership stakeholders, and stakeholder groups 
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to change and the ability to deal with ambiguity 
  • Support Invent strategy development and execution with your knowledge and expertise on market trends 
  • Responsible for leading the successful and profitable delivery of the OCM workstream within a larger Capgemini project 
  • Own the OCM project responsibility, staffing, and results; take stake in the overall client project success 
  • Apply innovation and diversity in delivering projects 
  • Apply expertise to identify and solve topic/business issues and develop solutions in business context 
  • Spot business transformation opportunities  
  • Present your ideas in a clear and convincing manner  
  • Determine the planning and budget, identify change impact risks and mitigation, organize assignments and monitor performance 
  • Provide learning and development measures for OCM to Invent as a whole  
  • Partner with PMO in the project planning and integration of change management activities into the overall project plan 
  • Apply change management principles and Capgemini digital tools and templates to drive accelerated adoption of client initiatives 
  • Provide Program direction and oversight of OCM strategies, plans and deliverables 
  • Provide thought leadership, oversight and QA for all change management and training activities 
  • Work with Client’s OCM Lead to involve the business 
  • Develop program Change Roadmap / Strategy / Plans to include Engagement, Readiness and Learning Plans 
  • Plan and lead workshops to identify business detailed impacts and develop plans for mitigation through communication, training, or stakeholder engagement activities.  
  • Drive leadership alignment and engagement activities  
  • Support training efforts by reviewing and helping to manage the facilitation of training programs 
  • Develop OCM resources for future leadership roles 
  • Provide regular feedback and input into performance reviews 
  • Manage teams effectively and strengthen people content expertise  

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience related to the delivery of change management programs with strong understanding of OCM methodology and tools 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of consulting experience  
  • Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, contracts, resourcing, and the commercials of an engagement 
  • ERP Transformation experience required; SAP highly desired 
  • SAP Enable Now experience or other Digital Adoption expertise highly desired 
  • Function as a core member of a program/project team 
  • Expert communicator and influencer with outstanding communication and negotiation skills 
  • Must be able to demonstrate a level maturity while under constant pressure from the business and technology community 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to understand organizational and cultural issues and challenges  
  • Expertise in written and verbal communications 
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and program governance 
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change  
  • Executive presence with ability to establish and maintain credibility with senior leaders 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Must be a good team player with the ability to work collaboratively with and through others on project and client teams 
  • Bachelors degree or higher 
  • Additional certifications considered 
  • Strong MS Office skills – MPP, Excel, PPT, Word, Visio 
  • Heavy travel required as well as ability to drive results working remotely
