Job Title: Senior Service Management Consultant – ServiceNow HAM

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description:   

The Senior SACM HAM Consultant oversees Hardware Asset Management (HAM) delivery for one or more accounts. A leader in their area of expertise, recognized as a subject matter expert in all aspects relating to ITIL HAM and ensures that the implemented process is followed to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of the data within. Experienced in governance, industry standards, implementations and audits of HAM. Leads hardware remediations and / or troubleshooting, either on request or proactively. Takes ownership and leadership of HAM initiatives. Expert in areas such as governance, industry standards and implementations of HAM models. Champion of HAM lifecycle process and procedures to ensure the data integrity of hardware asset and CIs to support the SACM and Core ITIL processes.
 
Responsibilities
Oversees Hardware Assets / Configuration Items (CIs) data accuracy and integrity
Maintains proper relationships the CMDB; includes (but is not limited to) people, IT components, and contracts
Assist in / Support the Software Audits/True-ups planned and unplanned in the Audit Schedule to ensure accuracy – via physical or auto-scans; proactively identifying discrepancies and driving same to closure to maintain accuracy of the CMDB and enforce SACM / Change Management process and policies
Assists in conducting Quality Assurance over SACM / HAM process and policies
Assisting in SACM / HAM Service Level Agreement reporting, both operational and ad-hoc reports as required and agree
Follows and champions SACM HAM process & technology standards
Works closely within SACM and with Change Managers to ensure that asset and CI changes / updates are reflected in the CMDB in a timely manner
Registers and/or ensures registration of new Hardware Assets / CIs
Maintains or supports maintenance of the hardware model table, as required
Updates asset and CI information in the CMDB as required
Creates / Maintains hardware asset dashboards
Maintains relationships and communication with other organizations that participate in the hardware asset lifecycle (depot receivers, Supply Chain, Finance)

Understanding of how Business processes are supported by technology
Experience in using asset/configuration management databases
Able to write reports, conduct meetings and perform investigative work
Experienced in the use of SLAs/KPIs to track trends and identify problems before they occur
Automated Discovery Experience

Certifications required
ITIL certified (Foundation v3 or v4)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator 
HAM-Professional module: Certified Implementer
