Career Opportunity
Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities. Roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture. Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets. Additional Skills and Experiences can include:

  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
  • Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
  • Lead Senior Management, comprising resources from the Business and Functional areas and IT business and operations functions, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas data governance representatives.
  • In conjunction with the IT, provide progress reports to Board management and oversee periodic updates to the Department Data Governance Roadmap.
  • Business architecture, capabilities road mapping.
  • MDM and data governance solution skills.
  • Data modeling and profiling.
  • Operations and process improvement.
  • Delivery management and optimization.
  • Project Management/Agile using Jira.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to performance and learning new skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PowerPoint and Excel Master-Level.

Applications Consultants have expertise in a specific technology environment.  They are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package-based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE).  These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years working in Strategy & Operations, Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics Consulting.
  • Experience in Data Management and data governance, who understands data governance frameworks & tools, quality, metadata models, and process steps.
  • Experience problem solver who can take data and tell an insightful story to drive recommendations.
  • Experience in leading high performing teams with a wide variety of data management, analytical and operational skills.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to performance and learning new skills.
  • Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
