Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – Sr. Technical Architect
Relevant Majors: Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science
Must have hands-on working experience with Dynamics Navision or Business Central
Responsibilities: To be successful, he or she must have proven experience managing projects through the entire project lifecycle.
Responsible for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central configurations and customizations fo
•Lead the D365 BC technical delivery of the solution.
•To help evaluate gaps in the current system and to identify solutions with D365
•Must be able to create detailed design and technical documents.
•An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our customers.
•Knowledge of full application life cycle design tools and methodologies
•Develop integration layer for data integration considering new data and modified data in source and target systems.
•Make the detailed data models and designs that are required to support the integration between D365 and Navision.
•Develop/maintain description of the data and data structures, architecture and framework.
•Multi-Module exposure Including; Financials, Trade & Logistics and Projects
•Know the design and architecture of Dynamics Nav/BC
Relevant Technical Skills:
Minimum 4 years experience in Microsoft Dynamics Nav/BC installation and configuration experience overall, with current experience on Microsoft Dynamics BC cloud versions.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC/Nav experience with at least 4 years with hands on lead experience with all modules.
Experience creating technical documentation using Agile type tools.
•Dynamics BC/Nav development experience
•Must have experience in development process, methodologies and tools.
•Experience with integrating Dynamics BC using Rest APIs, LogicApps, or other connectors.
•Multi – site implementations a plus, Manufacturing and Finance module experience a plus.
•Experience designing and deploying packages through Azure LCS process and pipelines
•Experience in multiple projects required.
•Lead technical experience required.
Additonal Experience or Skills Desired
•Experience multiple projects customizations required.
•Experience in medium to larger Enterprise sized projects.
•Good presentation skills.
•Good customer skills.
•Work with little or no supervision.
•Can work to a defined time line for assigned tasks.
•Travel is required.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• You are responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a Delivery, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client.
• You define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation.
• You are responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the Delivery services can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Qualification: 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role)experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Has or seeking IAF level 1.
• Should be proficient in foundation, People Leadership, client acquisition & development, service & delivery and business leadership.
• Should be experienced in technology awareness & leveraging and innovation & growth capability.
