054912-Managing Delivery Architect – GCP Pre-Sales Solution Architect

As a pre-sales solution Architect, the candidate should be very comfortable in articulating technology win themes and value propositions that will position Capgemini favorably with its customers. The candidate will be engaging with our customers and prospects to provide pre & post sales solutions and architectural advice and thought leadership covering either machine learning, data, analytics, apps and infrastructure competencies. Additionally, candidate will be assisting the portfolio and practice leaders to build out the next-generation GCP based offerings and solutions.

The pre-sales solution Architect will:
*Lead customer workshops to educate clients and prospects on Google Cloud Platform concepts, solutions and technologies.
*Act as a supplemental point of escalation on highly specialized and high-profile customer engagements that require advanced guidance to sales and solution engineers.
*Be a trusted advisor that conducts deep-dive customer sessions to translate client's existing workflows into the Google Cloud ecosystem and address customer concerns.

Your Key Result Areas:
*Enable CSD growth through sales wins via technology differentiation and innovation
*Actively advise and engage with Capgemini’s sales teams to understand the customers’ business and technical objectives and then design solutions that leverage Google Cloud technologies.
*Provide technical product expertise, advise on deployment architectures, handle in-depth technical questions, and overcome concerns with the goal to build long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor.  
*Contribute to sales process improvement, including developing knowledge bases, creating sales tools, and mentoring other Sales Engineers.
*Design compelling, innovative and competitive client propositions for technology outsourcing with innovative Google cloud technologies
*Outline the pursuit sales and solution strategy to provide direction for solution contributors and subject matter experts (e.g. through developing a solution blueprint and transformation storyboard)

Requirements:
*10+ years of solution architecture experience or specialty domain experience with a proven track record.
*Google Cloud Platform Certification- Professional Cloud Architect and/or Associate Cloud Engineer certifications are preferred.
*Strong understanding of the SRE practice concepts and Google Cloud services such as App Engine, GKE, Bigtable, BigQuery, GCE, Anthos, and other Google services. 
*Maintain a professional knowledge of and relationships within the GCP ecosystem.
*IT Industry experience or exposure to technologies and applications such as containerization, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Oracle, Magento, Sitecore, and SAP Hybris is a plus. 
*Strong understanding of the DevOps concepts for CI/CD, configuration management (Terraform), orchestration, etc.
*Act as GCP Solution Architect, responsible for solution proposal, architecture and commercial proposal for various GCP business opportunities.
*Proven experience in designing turnkey solutions leveraging best of Google cloud capabilities in the areas of IaaS and PaaS components, Servers, Storage, Infrastructure Transformation, DC migrations to Cloud, DR on cloud, Dockers, Kubernetes, Data Store, Pub-Sub, Anthos etc.
*Utilizing GCP as a landing zone, well versed with Cloud solutions on load balancing, performance, scalability, concepts of microservices – its applicability.
*Must be able to articulate technical merits and value of cloud computing and comparative in-depth analysis of GCP in comparison to other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
*Experience on DevOps Tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc
*Knowledge of relevant GCP/public cloud services beyond IaaS (identity management, certificates, workplace, integrations, native tools and solutions)
*Knowledgeable in classic application architecture and cloud modernization strategies.
*Demonstrated, strong analytical and technical capabilities, with an innovative 'edg

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks.  They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

 

• You are responsible for designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation.

• You should be able to identify and challenge several IT scenarios by taking into account the business environment.

• You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in major client organizations.

• You lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence.

• You are seen as a role model in your community.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualification: 12+ years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Has TOGAF 9 and has IAF level 1 and is seeking level 2.

• Should be experienced in foundation, People Leadership, service & delivery.

• Should be proficient in client acquisition & development and business leadership.

• Should be masters in Technology Awareness & Leveraging and Innovation & Capability Growth.
