Capgemini has a need for an enthusiastic and agile Human Resources professional to join the HR Services Separations Tower; a centralized service offering .The HR Services Separations Associate will align to the central HR Services team partnering closely with internal stakeholders/clients, including Core HR Operation teams, Business Leadership, HR Business Partners, Capacity Managers and the General Counsel Office.  

The following objectives are in scope for the Separations Tower: 
♠Manage operational controls for separation processes across North America; collaborating and driving compliance with other units for government compliance tracking, reporting, financial analysis, and integration with Compensation and Finance.
♠Deliver flexible, robust, timely and strategic case management of all voluntary and involuntary separations across North America through a centralized model
♠Drive efficiency and consistency through the advisory services provided across the North American region
♠Ensure that labor law requirements are understood, comply with Capgemini policy, adhere to internal processes and mitigate risk to the business

The responsibilities of the Separations Associate will include, but are not limited to the following:
•Partner with HR Employee Relations, the General Counsel Office and other internal stakeholders to provide guidance and interpretation for separation case management. This includes:
oAssessment and consultation on requirements for involuntary separations
oManagement of large and complex reductions-in-force and separation activities such as confirming timelines, documentation requirements and adherence to criteria determined by the business
oProvides subject matter expertise for acquisitions and divestitures 
•Manage the separations reporting function including but not limited to:
oOwnership and consolidation of government compliance tracking and reporting across units within North America
oOwnership of financial cost reporting and analysis delivered to Capgemini leadership integrating with compensation and finance on continuous improvement opportunities
•Ensure consistent interpretation and application of Capgemini policies for all North America voluntary and involuntary separations for compliance with legal and government requirements
•Maintain all documentation in relation to business case management and relevant support materials in alignment with the Capgemini Confidentiality Policy and local legislative requirements
•Assist with the development of separation policies and programs in partnership with the Separations Tower Lead, the Policy Team and other stakeholders 

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's degree in HR, business, management or equivalent practical experience
•HR Certification a plus
•Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience gained in either an HR Specialist role or equivalent experience practicing employment law for case management and investigations
•Advanced excel skills including being able to build and maintain formulas, conduct financial analysis, and be able to address changes to requirements

 

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
