The Team is looking for a software engineer to migrate a Python service from version 2 to version 3 of python for configuration control of our industry-leading Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners. In addition, this engineer must integrate the DDS communication methods from a C++ library into this Python service. The engineer will work with and take direction from the Lead/Senior Firmware Engineers for this project. Activities will include
1.implementation and execution of automated tests in our Python-based automated test framework
2.work with existing C++ DDS communication libraries and utilize Python bindings to integrate multithreaded callback behavior in the Python service
·Experience with software configuration management and build tools: ClearCase, Git, Jenkins
·Experience with Linux/SLES 15 environments
·Experience with C/C++, Python programing
·Experience with unit testing, verification testing and automated test management
·Experience with VxWorks
·Experience with real time development
·Experience with networks (TCP/IP, UDP)
·Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
·Experience with Rally and working in an Agile planning and execution environment
