The focus of the AWS Market Development Executive (MDE) role is selling transformative, strategic, multi-million-dollar engagements for Capgemini North America’s AWS Insights and Data practice, part of the Capgemini Insights and Data Global Business Line. This role is for a tenured, senior sales professional, who will collaborate with Capgemini and AWS sales and account executives to sell AWS-centric Insights and Data solution offerings to existing and greenfield customers.
This role requires the ability to successfully work cross-functionally across Capgemini and AWS alliance and account teams. The MDE will be responsible for creating highly effective, collaborative relationships with Capgemini’s AWS practice leadership, presales Solution Architects, AWS field sellers and other Capgemini/ AWS MDEs, towards the goal of increasing the AWS I&D pipeline and closing approximately $15 million in project engagements annually.
The MDE provides advocacy and voice of the customer feedback loops to the AWS Practice leadership and product development teams. The MDE should have experience preparing quarterly team-based account plans to determine sales strategy and RACI across the selling team (partner, alliance, market unit, etc.), as well as developing, managing and reporting on sales pipelines through each sales stage. The MDE will develop and drive business and technical relationships at accounts both individually and as a team member along with account managers, Capgemini’s AWS partner alliance teams, and AWS account & Professional Service teams.
Required Qualifications: BA/BS, Business Administration or related fields. Minimum of five (5) years of enterprise sales and/or program/product management experience. Minimum of five years of experience selling enterprise Microsoft computing services. Minimum of five years’ experience successfully selling strategic professional services engagements to Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 company divisions and their LOBs. Professional services sales executive with a proven track record of carrying and exceeding bookings sales quotas of not less than $15M per annum (evidence of President’s Club or related annual achievements required). Minimum five years of evidenced experience and relationships within the Data and Analytics market.
Successful candidates will demonstratable the ability to present compelling proposals and presentations which clearly articulate business value (increased profit, growth of capitalization value, faster time to market, more market share, cost optimization, strategic market advantage, etc.). Successful candidates will also prove their ability to evangelize how Microsoft services platforms can transform, optimize and provide business value, financial benefits and technical agility to both technical and business stakeholders.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

IT Transformation Managers optimize Business Technology capabilities and manage implementation, change and transformation on behalf of the client. They analyze and evaluate existing Business Technology capabilities (- organization, project management, service management and resources management). They define Business and IT objectives and identify gaps. They are responsible for the success of the transformation by designing the appropriate transformation roadmap and leading the execution of it. They also carry out skills coaching and consulting. IT Transformation Managers understand the financial implications of their proposals. Their plans must increase the productivity and quality of the complete IT landscape and life cycle by using client standards and procedures, control and quality management, rationalization and automation. They use industry standards and best-practices including a feasibility check and necessary adaptations for the client.
Required Skills and Experience:
The Senior Transformation Manager, has an expertise in several areas of the transformation topic. This enables them to take responsibility for the execution of significant areas of programs/projects together with the client, supporting and coaching colleagues and employees of the customer within this areas of responsibility. Taking responsibility for the delivery of large areas of an overall program/project, with the client, develops, refines and realizes coherent transformation strategies and roadmaps to achieve the clients business outcomes. Where needed, assumes control of external suppliers ensuring their alignment to the overall delivery roadmap. Key contact for the management and team at the customer across all programs. Supports and leads program/project reviews and audits. Leads or supports change, communication and deployment activities with the program/project customer and develops new opportunities as they arise.
• Qualification: 12+ years experience, Bachelor’s Degree. Master Degree Preferred.
• Should be experienced in Business Change Management, Business Case Development and News Business Model Design
• Should be proficient in Business Transformation, Project Financials, KPI´s & Reporting
